With My Account B2B, customer registration is possible for Yahoo! Stores. Customers can store their shipping information and view order history in an easy-to-use application. Providing customers a way to faster checkouts has been shown to dramatically increase conversion rates. Store owner can access database to view users and edit accounts.

B2B adds an enhanced level of interaction and control for store owners. Pricing can be hidden until the customer registers and can also be set up upon access tiers. The site owner can keep the site private (or parts of it) and allow access upon approved requests only as well. MyAccount B2B can be integrated with the Gift Registry/Wishlist module and Facebook Connect.

For security purposes, My Account B2B does not store credit card information. Applicable for Yahoo! Standard and Professional Stores only.

Because apps tend to move and store large amounts of data that can affect load times and store stability, they are hosted software applications that incur an install fee and recurring monthly maintenance/hosting fees. Updates and enhancements are part of the month-to-month contract. These applications are housed off the store's server. All applications require 30 days notice to cancel without penalty. Features are programmed into your store to add tools and user enhancement. Generally, they consist of javascript, php or other types of code that allow the store to perform in a variety of ways not found as part of the typical offerings of store platform templates.

We cannot move our code to your servers as the code is proprietary and the code takes considerable technical skill to manage. Much like Salesforce.com, or Yahoo! Store, FastPivotSoftware.com is a software as service model.

Hosting it on our cloud of servers gives us the ability to scale and roll out features to all our users much more quickly than with individual installations. For instance, we are in beta with a social shopping feature set that includes FaceBook Connect functionality.
